Meteor T.7 WL357 at Driffield airfield.

On 23rd February 1953 this No.203 Advanced Flying School aircaft was being flown on a circuits and landings training exercise at Driffield airfield when during one of the landings the aircraft sank toward the ground. The undercarriage was damaged and it came to rest in the boundary fence. A Cat.3 damage assessment was initially made but this was upgraded to Re-Cat.4R on 30th March 1953 and it was sent to Gloster Aircraft Ltd for a repair in works.
