On 30th July 1953 this Central Gunnery School aircraft suffered brake failure on landing at Leconfield airfield. The pilot raised the undercarriage to stop on the airfield and it received repairable damage. 60 MU listed this aircraft in their orb in January 1954 with it being upgraded to a Re-cat.4 damage assessment.
