This aircraft had a Cat.4R damage assessment made against it on 23rd June 1953. At the time the aircraft was on charge with the Central Gunnery School and was based at Leconfield. What caused the damage assessment to be made is not known. It was transported to No.32 MU at St.Athan for a repair in works.
