This aircraft had a Cat.4R damage assessment made against it on 7th August 1953. At the time the aircraft was on charge with No.92 Squadron and was based at Linton on Ouse so presumably the assessment was made there unless it was one of the aircraft used at other airfields during exercises. What caused the damage assessment to be made is not known. In December 1953 it was transported to the Gloster Aircraft Co.Ltd for a repair in works.
