On 18th May 1953 this Central Gunnery School aircraft was being flown on a familiarisation flight when the pilot inadvertantly put the aircraft into a spin, while he then recovered and made a normal landing at Leconfield airfield the aircraft appears to have been slightly damaged, probably through over-stressing.
