On 14th November 1953 this No.215 Advanced Flying School aircraft collided with the runway marker board on landing at Finningley airfield which caused damage to the flaps. A Cat.2 damage assessment was initially made against it but in January 1954 this was upgraded to Re-Cat.4 and it was sent to AVRO at Woodford for a repair in works.
