The No.60 Maintenance Unit record book lists all the aeroplanes that they were tasked with making servicable in 1953. For this aircraft it states that it was servicable during the month of April 1953 at Church Fenton. It was presumably assessed as damaged there a few months prior to this. At the time it appears to have been on charge with No.209 Advanced Flying School and based at Weston Zoyland. It presumably was visiting Church Fenton or being transferred to a Church Fenton unit when the assessment was made though what caused the damage assessment to be made is not known.
