On 27th October 1953 this No.203 Advanced Flying School aircraft suffered the elevator hinges becoming distorted in flight. The pilot probably landed safely at Driffield where the unit was based. The incident is not listed in the unit records.
Pilot - Name unknown.
It appears to have been repaired on site but it is not listed in the No.60 MU orb for aircraft they assessed, so it was probably repaired locally (possibly after a Cat.2 damage assessment) or by other contractors on site. It was returned to 203 A.F.S. charge on 11th November 1953.
