This aircraft had a Cat.3R damage assessment made again on 20th March 1953. At the time the aircraft was on charge with No.207 Advanced Flying School and was based at Full Sutton. After repair on site by No.60 M.U. it was returned to the service in May 1953. What caused the damage is not known.
