Anson C.19 VV298 at Doncaster airfield.

This aircraft had a damage assessment made against it at Doncaster though when this was is not known. At the time it would have been on charge with No.9 Reserve Flying School and based at Doncaster. What caused the damage assessment to be made is not known. The No.60 Maintenance Unit record book lists all the aeroplanes that they were tasked with making servicable in 1953. For this aircraft it states that it was ready during the month of April 1953 and they passed it servicable at Doncaster. Any damage assessment therefore must have taken place in 1952 or in early 1953.
