This aircraft had a Cat.4R damage assessment made against it on 22nd June 1953. At the time the aircraft was on charge with No.207 Advanced Flying School and was based at Full Sutton. What caused the damage assessment to be made is not known. It was transported to 32 MU at St.Athan three days later for a repair in works.
