Meteor F.4 VT256 damaged in the air, landed at Finningley airfield.
On 8th October 1953 this No.215 Advanced Flying School aircraft suffered a bird strike in what their orb described as "the low flying area". The pilot landed normally at Finningley on conclusion of the flight.
