My information for this incident comes from some paperwork given to me and needs to be checked. This incident does not feature in the unit record book which was fairly detailed in logging their incidents during this period. I need some primary source records to confirm the information. (Possibly) on 22nd January 1952 this Central Gunnery School aircraft was landed with the undercarriage retracted at Leconfield airfield in error. The damage was repaired.
