On 30th December 1952 this No.92 Squadron aircraft received a Cat.3R damage assessment and at the time the squadron was based at Linton on Ouse airfield. No.60 MU began a repair on site but must have found something more serious so the assessment was upgraded to Re.Cat.4R in February 1953. It was then sent to Gloster Aircraft Ltd for a repair in works in March 1953. How it came to require a repair is not yet clear and this may not have been down to any flying related incident.
