A Cat.4R damage assessment was made against this aircraft on 21st February 1952. At the time it was on charge with 19 Squadron and based at Church Fenton. Whether the damage relates to a flying accident / incident or purely damage found during a routine inspection is not clear. More information is required as to what occurred. The damage assessment was later upgraded to Re.Cat.4R and it was sent to 32 MU at St. Athan for a repair in works.
