On 4th April 1952 this 215 Advanced Flying School aircraft undershot on landing at Finningley airfield and struck a fence. Shortly after this incident the County Council diverted the bus route to avoid the airfield approach. A Cat.3R damage assessment was made and it was repaired on site by 60 M.U. with it servicable in May 1952.
