On 3rd April 1952 this 207 Advanced Flying School aircraft was flown on a training exercise that saw the the pilot make a practice approach to land at Breighton airfield followed by flying an overshoot. During the overshoot an engine would not pick up power and the aircraft lost height. A wing struck the ground and the undercarriage then collapsed. Both pilots were uninjured. The unit was based at Full Sutton but appear to have used Breighton airfield as a relief landing ground at the time. The damage was later repaired.
