On 15th May 1952 this 205 Advanced Flying School aircraft clipped a tree on the approach to land at Neasham airfield. Despite damage the pilot went on to land normally and the damage was repaired. The unit was based at Middleton St.George but had the use of Neasham airfield as a relief landing ground, this was the airfield previously known as Croft.
