On 28th August 1952 this 19 Squadron aircraft suffered bird strike in flight and received minor damage. The pilot went on to make a normal landing, probably at Church Fenton where the squadron was based. The aircraft was soon repaired and was later force landed at Howden later in the year and further damaged.
