On 7th October 1952 this aircraft received a Cat.3R damage assessment. At the time the aircraft was on charge with the Central Gunnery School and was based at Leconfield. What caused this damage assessment to be made is not known. It was repaired on site by No.60 Maintenance Unit and was noted as being servicable at Leconfield in March 1953.
