A Cat.3R damage assessment was made against this aircraft on 26th September 1952. At the time the aircraft was on charge with No.19 Squadron and was based at Church Fenton airfield. What caused the damage assessment to be made is not known. It may or may not have been accident related. More information is required. It was repaired on site by a team from 60 M.U. and was made servicable in May 1953.
