On 17th October 1952 this 19 Squadron suffered a technical problem with one of the main undercarriage legs so the pilot went on to make a one wheeled landing at Church Fenton but eventually it settled onto the opposite wing and sustained some damage. It was damaged at Church Fenton several weeks before this incident and had only just been passed servicable following a repair on site by 60 M.U.. It was again repaired on site by 60 M.U. and noted as servicable again in April 1953.
