A Cat.3R damage assessment was made against this aircraft on 6th February 1952, believed to have been following some form of ground accident. At the time this aircraft was on charge with 19 Squadron and based at Church Fenton airfield. Exactly what occurred is not yet known. It took until July 1952 for it to be made servicable.
