On 20th October 1952 this aircraft received a Cat.3R damage assessment as a result of a ground accident. At the time the aircraft was on charge with No.19 Squadron and was based at Church Fenton. What caused this damage assessment to be made is not known. It was repaired on site by No.60 Maintenance Unit and was noted as being servicable at Church Fenton in December 1952.
