On 6th June 1952 this 92 Squadron aircraft collided with a target flag during an air to air firing training exercise. The pilot remained in control and went on to land safely, almost certainly back at Linton on Ouse where the squadron was based. A Cat.3R damage assessment was made and it was repaired on site, with it returned to unit charge toward the end of July 1952.
