On 25th March 1952 this Central Gunnery School aircraft was struck by debris thrown up during an air firing exercise over the ranges. The pilot landed normally, probably at Leconfield airfield where the unit was based. A Cat.3R damage assessment was made and it was repaired on site by 60 M.U. with it servicable in July 1952.
