Vampire FB.5 WA231 damaged in the air, landed at Leconfield airfield.
On 1st February 1952 this Central Gunnery School aircraft sustained a damaged elevator during an air firing training exercise. The pilot went on to land normally, probably at Leconfield airfield where the unit was based.
