On 24th June 1952 this 92 Squadron aircraft had a Cat.3R damage assessment made against it. The squadron was based at Linton on Ouse but what caused the damage assessment to be made is not yet known.
The 60 Maintenance Unit record book (air29/2039) lists all the aeroplanes that they were tasking with making servicable. For this aircraft it states that it was ready during the month of October 1951 and they repaired it at Linton on Ouse. How it came to require a repair is not yet clear and this may not have been down to any flying related incident.
