On 24th October 1952 this aircraft received a Cat.3R damage assessment. At the time the aircraft was on charge with No.215 Advanced Flying School and was based at Finningley. What caused this damage assessment to be made is not known. It was repaired on site by No.60 Maintenance Unit and was noted as being servicable at Finningley in February 1953.
