A Cat.3R damage assessment was made against this aircraft on 4th September 1952. At the time the aircraft was on charge with No.215 Advanced Flying School and was based at Finningley airfield. What caused the damage assessment to be made is not known. It may or may not have been accident related. More information is required. It was repaired on site by 60 M.U. and made servicable in February 1953.
