This incident involved a 664 Squadron aircraft. The unit was based at Hucknall but why it was in Yorkshire is not known. On Thursday, 1st May 1952 the aircraft landed on an airstrip in Yorkshire with the handbrake on. It subsequently tipped on to it's nose and the pilot was injured. Where the incident occurred is not known although elsewhere on the internet Yeadon airfield is quoted.
