On 19th September 1952 this 215 Advanced Flying School aircraft undershot a landing at Finningley airfield. The starboard undercarriage leg struck rough ground. Both undercarriage legs sustained damaged and while the pilot got the aircraft onto the runway the aircraft then swung off it and both legs then collapsed.
