On 23rd October 1952 the pilot of this 215 Advanced Flying School aircraft raised the undercarriage instead of the flaps after landing at Finningley airfield and the aircraft was damaged. A Cat.3R damage assessment was made and it was repaired on site by 60 M.U. with it servicable in December 1952.
