A Cat.3R damage assessment was made against this aircraft on 17th May 1952. At the time it was on charge with the Central Gunnery School and based at Leconfield. Whether the damage relates to a flying accident / incident or purely damage found during a routine inspection is not clear. More information is required. It was servicable in July 1952 following a repair on site by 60 MU.
