A Cat.3R damage assessment was made against this aircraft on 10th March 1952. At the time it was on charge with the Central Gunnery School and based at Leconfield airfield. Whether the damage relates to a flying accident / incident or purely damage found during a routine inspection is not clear. More information is required. It was repaired on site by 60 MU and made servicable in April 1952.
