A Cat.3R damage assessment was made against this aircraft on 28th April 1952. At the time it was on charge with 215 Advanced Flying School and based at Finningley. Whether the damage relates to a flying accident / incident or purely damage found during a routine inspection is not clear. More information is required. It appears to have taken until February 1953 for it to be made servicable.
