On 26th March 1952 this 203 Advanced Flying School aircraft undershot a landing at Driffield airfield and struck the ground hard. The starboard undercarriage leg broke off and hit the tail as it bounced clear. This also broke off the starboard tail plane. The aircraft then landed on the port wheel and swung around. The damage was assessed and it was deemed beyond repair.
