On 9th June 1952 this 205 Advanced Flying School aircraft made a heavy landing at Neasham airfield and an undercarriage leg collapsed. The damage was repaired. The unit was based at Middleton St.George but had the use of Neasham airfield as a relief landing ground, this was the airfield previously known as Croft.
