A Cat.3R damage assessment was made against this aircraft on 31st March 1952. At the time it was on charge with 608 Squadron and based at Thornaby. Whether the damage relates to a flying accident / incident or purely damage found during a routine inspection is not clear. More information is required. It was repaired on site and was servicable in June 1952.
