Meteor F.4 RA439 damaged in the air, landed at Finningley airfield.
On 3rd June 1952 this 215 Advanced Flying School aircraft suffered the canopy come adrift in the air while flying at 1200 feet at 410 knots. The pilot went on to make a normal landing at Finningley where the unit was based.
