On 8th February 1952 this 215 Advanced Flying School aircraft was belly landed in error on Runway 03 at Finningley airfield. The unit records list this aircraft as being flown again just six days later. I suspect the unit records for this earlier incident may have the serial number listed incorrectly. Historian Nick Roberts has identified the aircraft to be Meteor T.7 WH164.
