On 17th June 1952 this 215 Advanced Flying School aircraft suffered a jammed undercarriage leg. When it came to landing at Finningley the pilot made a belly landing on the grass. A Cat.3R damage assessment was made and it was repaired on site by 60 M.U. with it servicable in October 1952.
