On 21st July 1952 this No.14 Advanced Flying Training School aircraft was flown on a circuits and landings training exercise using Holme on Spalding Moor airfield. After six circuits and landings the pilot concluded his exercise, turned off the runway and headed to a dispersal point. While moving the levers in the cockpit the pilot inadvertantly pushed the undercarriage lever to the retract position and the undercarriage collapsed.
