On 19th July 1951 this 65 Squadron aircraft burst a main wheel tyre on take off from Linton on Ouse airfield but got airborne. Later, when it came to landing the pilot made a wheels up landing on return to Linton on Ouse airfield. A Cat.4R damage assessment was made and it was later transported to 32 MU at St.Athan for a repair in works in August 1951.
