On 9th June 1951 this 205 Advanced Flying School aircraft swung on landing at Neasham airfield after a tyre burst, the aircraft received some damage to the undercarriage but was repaired. The unit was based at Middleton St.George but had the use of Neasham airfield as a relief landing ground, this was the airfield previously known as Croft.
