On 1st November 1951 this No.203 Advanced Flying School aircraft suffered an engine failure. Whether this was in the air or on the ground is not known. The unit was based at Driffield so it probably occurred, or went on to land there. A Cat.4R damage assessment was made to the wing spar and it was transported to Gloster Aircraft Ltd. for a repair in works later in the month.
