On 25th June 1951 a Cat.3R damage assessment was made against this aircraft. It was on charge with 66 Squadron, based at Linton on Ouse, at the time but how it was damaged is not known. It may not have been as the result of a flying accident. A repair was carried out on site and it was returned to the unit later in 1951.
