I have little information on this incident at the time of creating this webpage but believed to have been on 12th February 1951 this 43 Squadron aircraft suffered an undercarriage leg collapse on landing, apparently at Church Fenton airfield. The squadron was based at Leuchars and why it was at Church Fenton is not known.
