Meteor F.4 VZ405 damaged in the air, landed at Finningley airfield.

On an unknown date during November 1951 while returning to Finningley airfield this 616 Squadron aircraft received damage in the air when the port side dive brake arm failed causing severe damage to the dive brake. The pilot was able to land normally at Finningley airfield.

Pilot - F/Lt Barry Kneath DFC RAF (144636).

Barry Kneath was awarded the DFC for service with 151 Squadron, Gazetted on 3rd November 1944.
