Meteor T.7 VW445 at Finningley airfield.

On 16th April 1951 this No.101 Flying Refresher School aircraft was flown on a circuits and landings training exercise at Finningley airfield. With the pupil pilot at the controls the approach to land was too high so the instructor told him to reduce power, he reduced too much power and the aircraft sank toward the ground. It undershot and hit the boundary fence causing damage to the starboard nacelle and flaps.

Or was this Meteor VW449 that was repaired at Finningley by 60 MU following a Cat.3 damage assessment and noted as servicable in June 1951.
